Some of the wire colours vary from fan to fan and the fan won't care electrically once you get it to suck instead of blow.

My system has been working on my CXs for years now and it's a lovely secure feeling when stuck in traffic when the fan kicks in and the temp gauge settles down nicely.On one of my CXs I've even chopped the full end of the Cam shaft off and blanked the Tacho drive hole.No more Tach drive seal leaks on this present CX500
