Another Carb Cleaning Thread(SiriusBlackOP)

Postby Gman » Thu May 13, 2010 5:54 pm

Thanks to SiriusBlackOp from the Chopper Charles forum for some good breakdown carb pictures.

Here are some of the photos I took while I was disassembling the carbs to clean them. The last few are after they were cleaned and ready to join back together. Also, notice that all three jets are threaded, so no extraction tool (like in the instructions in the Pinned General thread) was required. The small jet in both carbs was completely blocked. Guessing this was the idle jet since prior to the cleaning my bike only ran with the choke on.

Enjoy!
