Tyre Tips:Reading Tyres

Note:If your tyre has a,"Direction Arrow" make sure you mount it to the rim as per the direction. The Rear Michelin on one of my CX500s points towards the rear and some point forward.

I balance my tyres using a rod through the wheel and held between two,"Wheelie Bins" and stick on weights from a bike shop or Ebay. You can re-use old weights with a bit of double sided tape or even superglue :)

I have run,"Tube type" and,"Tubeless" on these bikes with no problems. One advantage of Tube-type if you were on a,"Holiday" ride would be that they can be easily repaired if you get a puncture or even keep a spare couple of tubes with you as they pack down small :)
